Well here we are....The Peterson Family!! Our happy family of 5:) Welcome to our family blog!!
It's funny to start a new blog as the last time I blogged was when I was pregnant with Taylor and tracking my growing "baby belly" and before that was our Wedding Blog when Nick & I got married 6 years ago!! A lot has changed since then:) So I will rewind a little before moving forward:)
Nick & I have been together for 13 years now!! It's hard to believe that we met when I was selling shots at Sally's when I was 23 and Nick was 22. We were practically babies ourselves back then and now we have our own babies!! Strange to think about all that we have been through and the many different stages in life but so cool that we have remained best friends and have experienced so much together. In Boulder we took a marriage and family class together and who would have guessed we would someday really be playing marriage and family in real life everyday. So cool:)!! I feel so lucky to have Nick as my partner in life and even better is what an amazing Dad he is!! How fun it is to watch him with our kids!!
We have been living in Chicago for 8 1/2 years and absolutely love everything about this amazing city. We are so proud to call it our home!! Our bulldog, Budha became part of our family 7 years ago and continues to make us laugh with her funny snorts and loving demeanor. She is incredible with the kids and it's so fun to watch them all play together!! Nick is still loving his job as a Real Estate Developer in Chicago and although I loved my years working in both event planning and the fashion industry I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to be a stay at home Mother now. There is nothing better!! I am loving being home with the kids everyday and it's always full of many fun adventures!!
The best moments for us was the day our beautiful baby girl was born in March of 2007 and she has been amazing us ever since with her fun and charming personality. There is nothing like the love and joy that a child brings to your lives!! Then in September 2009 we were also blessed with a beautiful little boy who could not be sweeter and I don't think we have ever seen a baby who smiles more. There is nothing like Parenthood and Nick & I could not be happier with our sweet and loving family!! Everyday is a new adventure that brings all of us so much joy and tons of laughter.

Taylor Brynn is now 3 1/2 years and Bennett Nicholas is 14 months.
